Welcome to the Contracts Website
The Health Center enters into thousands of contracts every
year with individuals and companies here in Connecticut and around the globe in
support of its mission of providing outstanding health care
education in an environment of exemplary patient care, research
and public service. Every department at the Health Center – from
the NICU to the Center on Aging – relies on products and
services obtained through contracts. Many departments also
generate revenue for the Health Center by providing contractual
services to outside entities.
The responsibility for the contracting process here at the
Health Center belongs to the following contracting areas, which all report
to the Health Center's

As the Director of Contracts, I work with each of these
contracting areas
on contract preparation, information management, and
legal/compliance issues. My goal is to seek out and implement
ways of improving the contracting process for the benefit of the
Health Center as a whole, while also assuring that the Health
Center’s contracts are compliant with all applicable laws,
regulations and policies.
